If I build it....will they come?

So I've been toying around with the idea of creating a "Saul Colt - The Smartest Man in the World" Facebook group. I have a buncha ideas on how to keep it cool and different from the blog but I fear my fragile ego would not deal with a group with only a handful of people.

If I offered exclusive content, fun contests, virtual garage sales, awkward stories from my childhood and a regular feature of a daily "original saul style" horriscopes....would that be enough to get you (my faithful reader) to join and be proud active member?

Speaking of regular features....The Lottery Fun feature that I started months back here kinda fizzed out and I want to start it again so for those who are new here all you have to do to share a lottery ticket with me is leave me a comment on this post with a number (or email me directly at saulcolt gmail com) and I will buy the ticket.....doesn't cost you anything and this isn't a scam in anyway. If the ticket ever wins more then $10 I split it with all the number choosers. So far we have won a total of $700 and all parties involved have been satisfied so get in on the free money and keep reading the blog.

I have known for about a day and I am on still tingling.....best thing is that the winning ticket was part of the lottery fun tickets!


I have already notified the five people sharing it with me and they are as happy as I am!


Something this life changing makes you want to do all the things you have wanted to do your whole life and I am going to try to do them all. I have already make a big purchase and now I want to do something for all of you.


My big purchase was a pair of super slick seamless Nike Air Force Ones just like these!

....and since money wont be a problem for a few days I have decided to offer all the books I have published/written from SSS COMICS to you for free!

I am going to start with my series Eclipse and Vega and will post more as I get them all digitalized..........this is so exciting!

Luck is just probability made personal but lets do this anyway!

As a self proclaimed "Marketing Genius" I figured I needed to provide you all a reason to keep reading my little blog besides the obvious one of interesting content. The first idea I came up with was to offer you all large bags of money so we can form a true bond that only money can buy but then I realized that I didn't even have a large bag of money for myself so the second idea I came up with is what I am calling "Lottery Fun".

Once a week I will ask you people (the readers...and I hope I have more then 7 or this could get embarrassing) to post a comment with a number between one and forty nine. I will then take the numbers from the first seven people and purchase a lottery ticket with those numbers.

That is the lottery part......

.........here is the fun part......

All seven people who contributed numbers will be my partner on this particular ticket. I will email you a confirmation and ask you to stop what you are doing so you can direct all of your energy towards winning the lottery.

This is going to start next week so keep checking the blog after Tuesday and get those numbers ready!

So it took me a few days but......

I gave figured out what this blog is going to be about!

The first handfull of posts were self congradulatory links about me and I gotta say that even I was getting bored by it so I have comeup with a few categories that will continue along throughout the blog from here on out.

The categories are as follows:

WWSD (WHAT WOULD SAUL DO) - will be an advice area where I will answer questions on any subject. I don't profess to have the correct answers but I will still give you my answer.

Stuff I Like - This will be a place where I can infect you with what I am digging at the moment. This will usually concentrate on the following categories....Music,Books,DVDS and TV

Lottery Fun - This will get its very own posting in the morning since this is going to take some explanation.

Observations - self explanitory

Free Marketing Ideas - This could be under observastions but I figured I would give it a category of its very own.

General Personal Stuff - self explanitory

So bookmark the site or add it to your RSS feed because I garentee you will find at least a few things interesting here!

oh ya and the site officially starts tomorrow with Lottery Fun!
