Fall is one of my favorite times of the year. Not because of the weather change (I am not a fan of cold) or because of the colors of fall but because of the new TV season!
Keeping track of all the new shows and start dates are not easy so I am posting up a definitive list of all the new and returning shows.
Now before you get all impressed and start sending me thank you notes I want to give full credit to the people who actually did the work on this.........Thank you nice folks at thetvaddict.com

I really miss "must see tv". No, I'm not referring specifically to Thursday nights on NBC (although I sure miss the days of Cosby, Cheers, Family Ties, Seinfield and Friends (in no particular order).
I've seen a couple of the new pilots and there's nothing too exciting. My TV watching has diminished greatly over the past year. I'll be sticking to a couple tried and true shows. For me, most of the time I used to spend in front of the tube has transfered to my computer monitor.
I still love TV but my habits have changed quite a bit over the years. I very rarely see anything "live" as I pvr "my shows" and watch them over the weekend. My biggest gripe with TV nowadays (and I have spoken about this before) is that shows are not given a chance to build an following. It is pretty common now for a show to be cancelled after 2-3 episodes. Networks can't expect immediate success for new shows when people may not be viewing the product until many days after the actual show date.

Don't get me started on this!

Oops! I just saw the punctuation error on my previous post.
I agree that shows are canceled before they have a chance to have a following. I was so upset when The Nine and Studio 60 were canceled last year. I was thrilled that NBC aired the remaining episodes of Studio 60 over the summer and p-oed when ABC said they'd air the remaining episodes of The Nine. Then they teased us with two and pulled the plug again.
This type of behaviour on the part of the networks, gives me less incentive to watch new shows.
