If tech 2008 is like Hip Hop in 1985...I want to be DMC from Run DMC

I was fortunate to meet Gary Vaynerchuk last month and when you meet someone like Gary you don't forget him too quickly. He posted a cool video today about how the current tech community shadows alot of what the Hip Hop movement was like in the 80's.

While I wish I had made this observation myself...and I didn't, I have to whole heartily agree with everything Gary is talking about here.
